Sabrina Sinha has been selected to represent GB & NI in the IAAF World Youth Championships to be held in Cali, Columbia on 15-19th July 2015.

South of England U15/U17 Champs


The club had three winners at this competition with Vera Chinedu winning the Under 17 200m by nearly a second in 24.54, Evie Butcher the Under 15 3k Walk in 16.45.2 and Luke Osideko taking the under 15 High Jump with a PB of 1.80m.

Southern Athletics League  - Luton


Best result of the day came in the first event the women’s 400 hurdles with Kemi Ajose striding away from the opposition in the home straight to win in 69.0. After that it was downhill most of the way though there were good wins from the ever dependable Andy Kruszewski and Tony Tipping in the Shot and Discus.

The U17 & U20 Girls squad had a very successful day at the Kent County Relay Championships held on Sunday 20th September at Tonbridge Athletic Track with 7 medals out of 7 events.

A strange thing happened in Fort William over the weekend 5/6th September – the sun shone. For the first time in a number of years blue sky was the order instead of the usual damp Scottish fare.

Big wins for our young throwers at the Kent County U13 championship held at Erith Stadium.

Anna Blincoe was 1st in the discus, winning by over 6m, with a pb of 24.06.  Abbie Stewart  was also the class of the field in the girls shot, again with a significant winning margin

Club London Marathon Places 


Cambridge Harriers will receive several UKA Club Places for the Virgin London Marathon on 26th April 2016.   If any club members would like to be considered for one of the club places, please send evidence of VLM Ballot rejection to the Road Running Secretary, Graham Maynard, before 30th November 2015.

Well the wall to wall sunshine followed us down from Fort William to Ventnor. A glorious weekend of weather and racing.

In this year's Club 5 all three of the medals went to members of Ron Allison's coaching group with Steve Groom having a winning margin of 27 seconds over Steve Hodges. Third in the race was guest runner Dan McKeown of London Heathside.
