Short biog: Being an overweight Lager drinking taxi drive, i joined Cambridge Harriers in 2001. Now im a skinny balding real ale drinking runner and i wouldnt change it for the world , well maybe more hair would be nice. I used to play football 20 years ago but joining the club has been a new lease of life for me. Great historic club and a fantastic group of friends down at Glenhurst Ave.Married to susan [dont know how she puts up with me] 28 years. 4 kids 4 grandchildren but open to offers[dont tell susan] Also love cooking & vegi + fish

Favourite race and why:
Hastings1/2 Marathon (Great race fantastic crowds great fish & chips), Ben Nevis Fell Race (historic tough event, great weekend away),
Borrowdale Fell (an achievent getting round), Midsummer pub run (need i say more), isle of Wight Fell (3 hard races in a great weekend)
Career highlights: first marathon & then achieving first sub 3:15 in 2006, completing any fell race (they're bloody hard!), Under 1:30 in Hastings Half for first time in 2004, Under 40 min 10k dorney lake windsor 2006, Raising money for asthma [ my grandaughter has it]

Career ambition
Under 3:10 for marathon, to keep fit and keep running as long as possible and try to improve on my times, under 2:30 for ben nevis.
