The clubhouse is the administrative headquarters and meeting place for Cambridge Harriers. Our road, cross country and fell runners meet here to go on road and local woodland runs. The clubhouse has male and female changing facilities and showers, a function hall and an unstocked bar area.
The venue is the meeting place and post race rendezvous for the three Club Cross Country Championship races as well as the Christmas Handicap. The club also hold regular functions here including a summer barbecue, Christmas Meal and disco. Everybody is welcome to join the training sessions that are held from this venue, meeting from 7pm on Wednesdays and Fridays and from 8am on Sunday morning.
During the summer, Friday runs are held in the Kent village of Shoreham, and Wednesday runs usually take in Joydens Woods. Both runs are usually between 6-12 miles long. In the Winter, Wednesday runs are on several local routes through the streets (see routes) and Fridays involve either hill training or a gentle 6 mile run.
Sunday morning runs usually take place through local parks for an hour and a half.
