Training

Several cross-country, trail and fell running training groups meet regularly at the Clubhouse in Bexley and at Sutcliffe Park Track in Eltham.

Sutcliffe Park Track - Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 1800.
Track sessions tailored to distance running with long repetition track work. Warm-up on park paths.

Clubhouse - Wednesday & Friday evenings from 1900.
Road training in winter and off-road in summer, including repetition speed sessions and steady runs up to 10miles. The mixed running groups often split to meet all abilities and pace. Friday evenings at 1900 for hill sessions or steady runs (group often meets at Shoreham Village in Kent during summer months).
Sunday at 0800 for hardy runners wanting steady long.

Club Championships & Trophies

5 Miles - held over a challenging course in Joydens Wood, Bexley, during October. Medals awarded for senior men and senior ladies. Trophy is awarded to first club runner. This event also includes club veteran championship. Race open to local clubs.

7.5 Miles - held over a challenging course in Joydens Wood, Bexley, during late November or early December. Trophy is awarded to first club runner. Race open to local clubs.

10 Miles/Half Marathon - held over a challenging course in Joydens Wood, Bexley, during late January or early February. Trophy awarded to first club runner. Medals awarded for senior men and senior ladies. Race open to local clubs.

Kent League & Championship Races
Cambridge Harriers is affiliated to the Kent County Athletic Association and South of England Athletic Association. The club supports senior and junior men, ladies and young athlete cross country teams at the Kent Championships, held in early January, and the Kent Cross Country Leagues, held throughout the winter period. The club also enters teams at the South of England and National Cross Country Championships for all age groups. For dates of this years events please contact respective team captains.
