Below are some routes that are used on Cambridge Harriers training runs and races. Our mysterious route recorder, "The Stick" will be adding more routes to this page, so keep comming back for more.
Where? Bexley (from Glenhurst Avenue clubhouse)
Distance 4.4mi/7.1km
Notes
This route is an undulating course usually run on a Friday night at a gentle pace as part of a taper in preparation for a race.
The route climbs 175ft in the first mile, before sweeping down Merchison Avenue and a long, gradual upward incline along The Drive to the A2, towards the Danson interchange.
From here the route follows the A2 for around 2 miles before cutting accross the pedestrian bridge before the Black Prince turn off and back to Hurst Road and home.
